Gareth Jones
Gareth joined the Swansea Borough Police and worked all his service in the Swansea area. Prior to his retirement
in 1981 he worked in the Prosecutions department at Swansea.
Gareths great love in life was rugby, and after retiring from playing he continued to support Swansea Police rugby sides and later South Wales Police as a trainer and first aid man. He was an avid supporter of The All Whites (Swansea) even after the setup of regional rugby. Gareth was a widower and is survived by his sister Avril.

Mike Godridge
Mike joined the Swansea Borough Police Force and served for many years in the Community Dept in Swansea and specialised in dealing with youth affairs, setting up and running Blue Light discos, which culminated in him being awarded the MBE for his efforts. He retired as the last serving member of Swansea Borough Police and continued his community role as a civilian employee of South Wales Police.

Mike will be remembered for his many years of dedication he gave to the Police Federation and his posts there include Constables and Sergeants representative for 'J' Division, and also holding the post of Treasurer.
